Piloted at Central Gwinnett High School, Lawrenceville.
Knowing which students are struggling is the easy part.
EdgeUCoin is what you do about it.
An 18-week program where students earn coins for real, adult-verified change in academics, behavior, and one goal worked on at home, then redeem them for real rewards that matter. Every coin is signed off by a teacher, a family member, and a facilitator. Schools bring the students, and the community funds the rewards.

How a coin is earned
A coin is proof, not a prize.
Earn.
Every student sets goals in three areas: academics, behavior, and one goal worked on at home. Coins come from real, measured improvement against that student’s own starting point, not from promises and not from where they began.

Coins follow verified growth against this student’s own week-1 baseline.
Sample student dashboard: a coin balance beside the verified growth that earned it. Verify.
This is the SET model, and it’s what makes a coin mean something. Three roles keep a coin honest. The Student does the work. On the school side, a teacher signs off the weekly goals and a facilitator confirms the workbook and sets the coins. At home, a parent or family member confirms the family goal. No self-report, and no single adult carrying it alone.

2 of 3 sign-offs
The Student logs the work. The coin is set only once the School and the Family have both confirmed it. No self-report.
Sample verification queue: a teacher, a facilitator and a family member each signing off separately. Redeem.
Coins become real rewards a student chose and worked toward. The reward follows the growth. It never comes first.

Build it with us
EdgeUCoin runs on people who show up.
It started with one team at one school. What comes next is bigger than a single pilot, and it takes three kinds of people: schools willing to bring the program to their students, funders willing to stock the rewards, and volunteers willing to tutor, mentor, and help build it. If that’s you, start here.
