This page is for the schools, funders, and volunteers deciding whether to back EdgeUCoin, so it reports exactly what has been measured so far, with the denominators, and nothing beyond it.
The measured result
In one pilot, positive feedback went from 67% to 92% in a month.
Every figure below was logged by the adults around one football team during two windows in early 2023. Both windows are drawn to the same scale, because the number of entries changed as much as the share of them that was positive.
The eighteen-week program grew out of two things we ran at Central Gwinnett High School. Project Insight, an after-school space where students could talk about what was really going on in their lives. And the EdgeUCoin Rewards Program, where students locked a goal, a teacher verified progress, and coins followed.
A cohort of football players ran their own version of the Rewards Program in early 2023, and that's where the pilot numbers below come from. The eighteen weeks takes the goal-and-verification structure from the Rewards Program and the safe-space purpose from Project Insight, and puts a full curriculum underneath both, which is the piece that didn't exist yet.

What this is, and what it is not
One pilot, one team, one school, one month. Between the two windows the number of logged entries rose from 350 to 739, so the two are not a matched sample: far more feedback was recorded in February than in January. Both denominators are published above for that reason, and the bars are drawn to one scale so the difference is something you can see rather than something you have to catch in a footnote.
This is evidence that something worked in one room in early 2023. It is not a general result, it is not a forecast for any other school, and it is not a claim about the EdgeUCoin platform, which has not yet run a pilot of its own. Weigh it as exactly what it is.

Before the eighteen weeks
What EdgeUCoin ran before this program.
EdgeUCoin runs one program today: the 18-week growth program. The efforts below came before it. They are finished, and they are here as history rather than as something a school or a family can join.
Project Insight, an after-school program
PastBefore the 18-week program existed, EdgeUCoin ran an after-school program called Project Insight. Across the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years it gave 26 students a weekly place to work on what winning actually looks like, in a classroom, in a hallway, and past the school doors. Every student was fed at each session. The program also took students to a nearby college campus to tour it and learn what it offered. Project Insight is finished, and it is not part of what a school signs up for now.
The EdgeUCoin Rewards Program
PastStudents locked a goal, a teacher verified progress, and coins followed. It ran at Central Gwinnett High School from 2023 to 2025. A cohort of football players ran their own version of it in early 2023, and that is the source of the pilot numbers on this page. The Rewards Program is finished, and the eighteen weeks grew out of it.
The Back-to-School Bash
PastIn the 2023-24 school year, EdgeUCoin held a Back-to-School Bash: a community health expo run with a local hospital partner and area businesses. Families could get free screenings on site, including blood pressure, BMI, peak flow, and a health age analysis. Area retailers donated gifts that were raffled off, and EdgeUCoin gave away 200 backpacks filled with school supplies. It was a one-time community event rather than a recurring program, and it is not running today.
Prizes, provided by a local restaurant
PastThe rewards students redeemed during the 2023 pilot were real, and a local restaurant provided them at the time. That arrangement ended with the pilot. EdgeUCoin has no current sponsors, and the rewards the next cohort works toward will be funded by people who step forward now.
